Seeley Lake is about 10 miles or aprox 15 minutes west of Baraboo. It is so peaceful and quiet! It is one of the out-of-the-way locations that I like to go to take my kids! We are truly blessed to be close to all that the Baraboo, WI area has to offer!

It is a 52 acre lake. Said to be 10 foot deep.
There is plenty of wildlife year round, and the dam is very photogenic, even better in the fall! There’s also some good fishing. {Just make sure to bring some chairs!}
For paddlers there is some quality wildlife watching. You can launch from the parking lot, paddle as far upstream as you can, then when you are ready turn back around. Depending on how much wildlife you see and where the log jams are, this is a 3-4 hour adventure.
